Breathe, Honey, Breathe
Duration: 5 minutes
In breathe, honey, breathe, the artist explores in a very loose and suggestive manner some key motif related to the mythology of pregnancy and child birth: rhythm (breathing), pain, confined spaces, vessels, water, etc.
Through layered sound tracks and images, the film builds up momentum and suspense, yet in the end, nothing much happens: the implied promise of climax and release is never fulfilled. Images and sounds blend and flow, and go on and on like the rolling waves featured in the introductory shots.
